Disorders of sleep interrupt your patterns of sleep and impact the quality and duration of sleep.
Common symptoms indicative of sleep disorders include:
Insomnia (difficulty falling and remaining as sleep)
Sleep Apnea (brief periods in which breathing stops and starts throughout the night, leading to excessive daytime
fatigue),
Restless Leg Syndrome (uncontrollable restlessness and urge to move the lower extremities, especially legs),
Narcolepsy (abruptly falling asleep during the day)
In addition to pharmacological interventions, our providers are experts at providing psychoeducation on sleep hygiene and utilizing behavioral techniques to reset and preserve your sleep architecture.
Our providers are trained to identify disorders of sleep, provide treatment when appropriate, and refer to sleep medicine when indicated.
Utilizing psychoeducation, counseling, and/or medication management our providers will fully optimize your treatment.
